They fabricated and installed for $400 out the door. I can lean all the way back and touch the steering wheel with no flex. I was concerned with flat stock aluminum bending or possibly wearing out the mounts with heavy use. I feel really lucky with it. I went local first and they exceeded my expectations. Ejerome09 Posted April 30, 2019 Report Share Posted April 30, 2019 @Nag Juice did those backrest holders go into your live well? trying to figure out a backrest that works for my '02 MA18. the Birdsall backrest would have to mount to the rear storage hatch ,not much room, other wise it would be positioned too far backwards. Fsu11 Posted May 2, 2019 Report Share Posted May 2, 2019 I have a birdsall backrest thats pictured and have no problems with flexing, low profile so its still easy to fish on the back.
