FunFlatsFishing
What kind of lock do you use to secure your trolling motor? I’m tired of cutting mine off due to corrosion from the salt water. Looking for a good alternative that can withstand the elements
JEM
I think mine is a small Master brass lock. After 2 years, it still unlocks!

Coming up on 5 years. I shoot it with CRC maybe once a year if I remember.
polliwog
I use the same brass master lock. Use some good lub several times a yr. Should be good to go.
FLDXT
I use the locks that come with new firearms, I have a bunch of them laying around, just replace them when they get rusted. I rarely have to lock mine, but when I do I just zip tie the lock to the mount to keep it from beating around.

Vaca Cut
Brass Master Lock here also, a drop of gun oil once every several months keeps the lock working like the first day I put it on.

RodWorks
I don't recall the brand name, but they sell them at West Marine. All brass, no issues for years.
