Ejerome09
Good find! price seems a bit high for a 97' with little in the way of accessories...

I would tend to agree.....but, most likely will go for $15K which would be a good deal....a TM system, PP and GPS would add another $5K and you'd have a nice skiff for $20K. dc
RacerxV6
Agreed! But if you look at the pics and the bilge area and even the anchor storage area. the boat has definitely been very well kept.
linesider 159
Seems high, 13k would be right. 21 year old boat that could need a fuel tank any minute. The values on these are pretty inflated and they don't seem to be selling. Just my opinion of course. I just don't see the money that they are asking
hurricane
But he says in the ad "very good deal at 18800"! Agree 13-15k
DavisIslander
I'm learning, not pulling the trigger until I'm educated enough to see/feel a good deal. I would have thought 17K would be a good price...glad to know.
hurricane
Not only the price, but Im not a fan of buying anything used in Miami. I lived there for 30 years, I know what goes on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MtPVOL
Now I’m curious. What goes on?
bsh102
That is truly one of the cleanest Mavericks I have seen in a long time. The cushions are original and look brand new. That is tough to do even if you are anal about cleaning your boat.

Lots of shady deals in Miami.....you never know who you are dealing with in many cases or where the vessel has been.....just seems like more often than not...deals are not what they seem in the big city..... born and raised in Miami..... dc
Lap it Up
The price is pretty steep but you never know with boats. Its all about who wants it and how much they are willing to spend. Also about timing. The guy has a second home LOL! Nothing to be scared of in "Miami". Dade county is pretty big and its doubtful his second home is the Downtown projects. If you know what you are looking at there is nothing to be scared of. One thing I do know... Prices seem to be a few grand higher in the "Miami" market compared to others. RacerxV6
I hear what you are both saying. I was born and raised there until I left in 09. launched our boat at Black Point/Pirate Spa before it got closed down and the county took it over. Property that is and boat lift, or hoist I should say. I am going back to the 70's sorry guys. Regardless, if that boat is as clean as it is and yes it does not have the accessories as hurricane points out. Bid it lower and see what he says. It's either gonna be yes or no thanks. hurricane
I can remember lunching at Black Point on a dirt/coral rock ramp, a long long time ago.
RacerxV6
yep! My dad's boat was a straight inboard and we had to use the hoist that they had there were the fishing boats lined up in the jetty...
