awall
I have a 2006 2000V. It has 4 of these in front of the console. I am assuming they were used to tie down the original cooler? I am trying to re-purpose them if I can. I can't tell for sure but I don't think they are threaded, but could be. Could anyone tell me what originally went in these and how it worked? Bamaskeet
That's a Kennedy tiedown. It is not threaded, it's more of a bayonet mount, there is a short horizontal pin in the bottom of the hole. Unfortunately, they are hard to get. I bought some a few years ago out of Sweden., . It really wasn't much of a hassle. i believe the name of the outfit was Onmar and they had a great website.
wthree3
Yes it was for cooler tiedowns. Bamaskeet is correct except not a Kennedy product, formerly a Southco product but now only available from Onmar. Their part number is M7-45-9314631. Listed under their Bimini hardware section. About $12 each. Shipping defaults to express but if you change it to ground it's much cheaper, about 10 or 15 dollars if I remember correctly.
