Headhunter Posted January 8, 2018 Report Share Posted January 8, 2018 What is it doing? I'll take a quick stab since I went through this on our HPXS. The main power feed wire for the panel terminates at the cigarette socket. It feeds almost everything in the lighting, pumps and miscellaneous (not the auto bilge pump circuit) circuits that are switched on at the panel. Many riggers tap off that for the electronics and dealer added accessories. Any corrosion or loose connection there and it over for almost everything except the engine starting and running circuit. It's gut wrenching when you get out on a flat 20 miles from home and nothing works. Had it intermittent for a while and I found the socket loose and once I tightened it up found the loose wire connection. Good to go ever since. Good luck!
