What year did the 22 foot Pathfinder get 250hp rating

Recommended Posts

I'm hoping know's the first year the 22 foot Pathfinder was rated to accept a 250hp outboard. I called the factory in Ft Pierce and they said 2006. The brochure posted in the sticky for this forum say's 2007. I'm looking at a 2200V built in 2005 being sold with a 250 2 stroke that the owner said came with the boat. Anyone know when? Thank you.

In the early days  the 2200 TE was rated for a 250 while the regular 2200v was not. Do not know when all were rated for 250 but probably when they changed the hull.

My 04 220te is rated for 250 on its sticker.

I have the old style hull, a 2007 2200V.  It is rated for a 250.

My 2003 was rated at 225. Those putting 250's on them risked transom issues that were not covered by warranty. I believe, as others said, the TE that came out around 2007 was the first rated for 250. They didn't run any faster than mine with the SHO 225 did. Changes to the hull and increased weight sapped that extra 25 ponies right up.
