JJBrown
Has anyone paid to have their Maverick completely rewired and if so would you mind sharing what you paid? I would like to get my boat completely rewired (including new bilge and live well pump) and I'm curious if the quote I received is fair. Can anyone give me a range in which I should pay? Thanks! Boat is a 2007 17 HPX
FLDXT
I have a 17MA, I sent pictures of mine when I first got.it to a reputabe shop and was quoted $4k. I did some minor work on my own and I'm planning a total refit when my.shop gets built. I enjoy wiring and it allows for.customizations and implicit knowledge of the boat and electrial system, always good for problem shooting.
Wanaflatsfish
Call Bob at InshoreMarine in Pompano Beach...he can give you an accurate (high level) quote.... I think FLDXT @ $4K might be a bit high, but, ....it's all in the labor if done right... materials alone can be at least $1K, if you are talking about all the switches, bilge pumps, on/off switch, to the console wiring , trolling motor, etc. fuses, panels, etc. it adds up quickly. dc
