Royst2
I started to replace my starboard actuator today. Easy part was putting the new one on. Now I have to figure out how to get the new wire from behind the battery tray that is back there. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. wthree3
First method would be to use the old wire to pull the new one through. Second method is to push most of the new wire in from the outside, then use a stiff wire fashioned with a hook on the end to blindly fish the new cable out from behind the battery compartment. rckeat
I did mine recently and ended up cutting the old and new wires and splicing them together. Was far easier than trying to pull the new wire all the way.
Dawgfan
I did mine recently as well. I spliced the old wire to the new wire as well. Use lots of 5200.....FYI!
BradM
I pushed mine through and fished around back there with a coat hanger...found it in a few seconds.
