flnative44
Thanks for the props guys, I want to sell fast because I want into an allison bass or similar. Hanging up the skiff life for a bit. Finished the project on the hewes, took it out the first time and knew ot would be up for sale. She runs great and is shallow. whichwaysup
Curious what the real life draft is on this one with the engine up?
flnative44
8 1/4" to 8 1/2", thats with two people and motor up with 3/4 fuel. The most you will see is 9"ish. That also accounts for no Live Well filled up and not a whole lot of gear, no extra batteries except for the crank (78lbs under console). Ive been in many skiffs and this is accurate. JWalk
Awesome looking boat. Sorry if this question is really stupid - but is everything painted inside and out, or is that all original gelcoat?
flnative44
All painted 2017. Not at all a stupid question if you don't know the history of hewes skiffs and or color combinations that they use back in the 90s and even after. I am looking for some new upright rod holders for my console... would it be possible for you to share what yours are and where you got them? Thank you in advance and good luck again! flnative44
I purchased them at EasternMarine.com, they only come in aluminum and silver is the only color option, I took mine to get powder coated. The Caps are pressed on but will come off.
