Sallow Minded
Going to put 2 talons on a 2002 redfisher 16 90 2-stroke. I want the 10 ft for when i get bait but I feel like an extra 100 lb on the back of the boat is a lot. What do you think?
fin-addict
I would go with the 8's, feel like 10 on a 16 is way to big, jmo
Jlrockjr
I have an 8ft power pole on my redfisher 16. I wouldn't go bigger. The height matches well with the poling platform and doesn't get in the way. Additional weight wouldn't be worth it for me.
linesider 159
The height of a 10 foot talon is less than an 8 foot blade. The worry is the weight, not sure id want an extra 100lbs on the transom of a redfisher 16, they sit pretty low as-is. Id transom mount them if possible to save weight
lurem
What is the weight difference between two 8' and two 10' talons?

Depends on boat and needs. The new 15 foot model will definitely be nice

I ended up getting 8' pro ii with dual brackets.
