Reel Joy
Lacing on my T-Top has lasted 13 years! Looks like it's now worn enough in places to break. Can I use outrigger cord to for lacing? I believe it's dacron. The paracord stuff is nylon and may have too much stretch and may be affected by UV. Thanks Paul
craSSh
If it's Dacron you should be good to go. Nylon braid, Dacron, or polyester chord is what's recommended.
hawg
I don't know if you've ever done this before, I changed my chord about 6 months ago. I tried something I read about-using zip ties to secure the canvas to the T-top frame while you remove the old chord and install the new. After you have the new chord in place, you cut away the zip ties. It really works well. Good luck!
Bamaskeet
I saw two pros replace a T-top yesterday. They did it exactly like hawg described. It took less than an hour.
