HewesYourDaddy Posted July 5, 2017 Report Share Posted July 5, 2017 The Minn Kota I took off of my Hewes is too short to use in place of the defective one on my Pathfinder, so it's up for sale. It is a Riptide 70lb, 24V with a 44" shaft (yes that's correct), it is one of the 5 forward, 3 reverse motors. Works great, but the speed control switch has a glitch or bad contact and you have to wiggle the throttle handle sometimes to get it to engage. I have a brand new speed control switch that is included. I will also include 2 batteries (without the wiring). BradM Posted July 17, 2017 Report Share Posted July 17, 2017 You can put a new, longer shaft on it for about 50 bucks; not counting new wire from the head to the foot (+/- wires).
