wayne
I made it down this year in my new to me HPX looking for some migrating fish.. This was my first experience being there when the season was in full swing.. We managed to find several schools of poons, but no takers... I was kind of surprised at the size difference of the fish this time of year, they all seemed to be in the 6' plus range... My first time targeting the smallest fish in the group.. No poons for me but I did manage my first bonefish...

bryson
Good job on the bones! We went down last week and saw hundreds of tarpon but couldn't get any to take a fly either. We caught a few on bait by the bridges to help boost morale, though. I wish we had been able to find the bones -- we didn't see a single one! What part of the Keys were you fishing? wayne
Islamarada ... I saw more tarpon in Biscayne bay than the keys... I'm not sure why, but I always find more fish in Biscayne...
