97 Bayfisher

I did really consider my 97 vintage, but according to the discription of the fourm it is vintage. I won't tell her she is vintage. Here she is.

Nice, I think 1997 was the last year they made the 16 with the original higher sides, in any case your boat is certainly "vintage".

The shark eyes are nice. I had to put a longer bow light on my boat to get over the trolling motor. I would be curious to know if you have a 12 or 24 volt trolling motor.

You don't see too many lapstrake 16's in Tampa even though they make a lot more sense than many of the boats I see on Tampa Bay. I think I have seen two bayfishers, no bonefishers. If you see a 16 Bonefisher with an E-tec and a console on the side be sure to say Hi!

How does it pole with the 90? It looks like it floats pretty level.

i love my 97 lapstrake tunnel. i don't tell mine she's a 'vintage' either! don't want to hurt her feelings, she's older but does everything the younger girls do! and just as pretty!
