ThinkDoneDeals
Got a 1806 with a new Yamaha 115. Went with a SCD4 17p prop, but getting on plane it blows out and feels like the prop is too small. I am thinking of going to a 20p, anyone have feedback? Thanks. lurem
I have had good luck with a prop that mercury recently came out with called a spitfire x7. It is a 4 blade prop with a small diameter and good bite. I run a 19 pitch on my 115 2 stroke and another rmember on here runs the 17 pitch with his 115 SHO. We both like the results the spitfire offered on different boats. Maybe see if your local prop shop has one for you to try in a 17 and see what numbers you can turn.
