fishmanjj
This was from Saturday morning, last of out going tide and first two hours of incoming. Very aggressive bite, all on DOA screwtails.

HewesYourDaddy
Dang it. We had a fishing tournament this weekend, I knew the weather was gonna be bad, and I didn't go. Kicking myself.

It was flat calm from daylight on outgoing tide, until about two hours of incoming tide....the breeze picked up a little then....but the fish bite was very aggressive...we caught redfish and trout, all on DOA screwtails and a few paddletails....I think the fish were feeding prior to the storms coming in. HewesYourDaddy
Were you fishing deep or shallow? What type of retrieve? Fast, slow?

The trout were holding between 5ft and 8ft near structure and shell banks, the redfish were closer to the shoreline. Slow retrieve because of water temps. We were using DOA 1/4 oz jig heads with copper crush curly tails and avocadoo shrimp with red flakes. Tried the glow with chartreuse tails with no luck. I have several combos I fish, but currently I'm fishing 7 ft Falcon Salt Low Rider with Shimano Nasci 3000 series reel with Fins Windtamer 12 lb test braid.
