Miss Jazzy
One of the lights on my 3 bank charger is not coming on any more. I want to check the lead to see if its putting out cause the battery is testing good. I have a multimeter but dont know what settings to use to test the lead. Any ideas? SCFD rtrd.
Doesn't your meter have a 12 volt setting or a low voltage setting?

What make and model..I'd contact the manufacturer for trouble shooting...depending on the type, most of the better ones are independent...meaning, if one bank goes out...you still have the other two available.. dc
Fish Food
When it is plugged in, it should have a voltage reading around 14.4V give or take (13.8-14.4). Look up manufacturer specs. This is the one I use, scroll down and you will see a picture of the setting. Use the DC voltage setting to check output. http://multimeter-test.com/how-to-use-a-multimeter/
JEM
To the mods, this multimeter info would be a good one to keep for a handy reference.
Miss Jazzy
Tested everything and swapped the leads to different batteries and still no go. I called the manufacture(dual pro) and they ran the s/n and it's way out of warranty(05 model). Good thing is they are running a 40% off sale on new ones until the end of Oct. So I'll be saving up.
