FINCHASER
A few times lately ive tried to use my cel charger in the 12 v cig lighter outlet... having issue with it staying tight in the socket to keep the power flowing. Wonder if anyone else has exp this and came up with a solution??
SCFD rtrd.
My charger cord has a little spring loaded gizmo on the side that keeps it tight in the outlet. It's part of the negative contact. Maybe your gizmo is weak?
FINCHASER
No springs in the side are good.... it wont stay all the way in so the positive center contact keeps losing connection
Fish Food
I know this sounds simple, but try a different charger of some sort to see if it stays in better. I have had problems with the insert on some due to the size of the springs that would disallow it to fit in all the way. Also, sometimes the tip has a tight spring that keeps pushing it out of the socket. Good luck.
Nauti
I've noticed this more with plug in lights because the plug is longer and it seems the outlet is not very deep, but I wouldn't think this would be a problem with the usb plugs since they're typically not very long (at least the ones I have but I haven't tried one on my boat).
