gamecocks2001
It looks like there is a new design that got introduced at iCast. When this happens don't they discount the current models? I could be crazy for thinking this, but it seems like I remember it happening in the past.

JEM
Can't remember for certain, but I think West Marine. I would be surprised if Bass Pro hasn't already got them discounted.

justdriftin
So, not to derail but I went to a local shop recently and bought a stradic C3000HG. i honestly never buy without doing research but i needed a reel for a rod I won and just wanted to get something, but wasn't sure what the C was all about. Really good reel by the way, so I may have paid a little extra for it, but can chalk it up to supporting local small business. Anyone know the significance of the C designation? Can't find any info, but the 4000 doesn't seem to have the C on it.
Fishtails
The C prefix is compact body. Meaning a c3000, is a 2500 body.
