linesider 159
Blistering 97.2 degree water temp yesterday on the flats in UTB. Just about died while fishing as well. Doesn't help the fish kicked my butt, they just won't eat whether morning or afternoon. Good news is there was almost no boat traffic there
FunFlatsFishing
It's been way too hot. Went scalloping today again. Another limit I thought I saw you at the ramp as I saw a black sterling but it had the older pro style XL powerpoles so I realized it wasn't

hurricane
Fished Friday down on the south side, around the LMR. Left early bout 5:30 fished till 9ish. Didn't do bad, couple nice reds to the boat, lost 2 others, also got a few other snook and trout average size. Again not bad for the short time, it just was too hot and too little wind. VsteveV
. We too left just before first light and hit Rattlesnake/ Miguel area. Saw good numbers, but the bite was slow for us. Few snook, 2 keeper flounders, lots of trout. Reds did not want to play at all, then we left around noon. I cant remember it ever getting that hot in my 20+ years here. There was almost no wind and water temp according to my Lowrance was 92. It was unbearably hot
