TurfLife
Looking to buy a Bimini top for my 2005 20ft pathfinder. Was also wondering if they make them with slots in them so you can still use your rodholders on the counsel while the Bimini top is up. Also if anyone knows a place that can make me one that would be great if I can't find a used one. Thanks
Tarpon Terry
Mine is being made at Shumake's in Tampa. Should be ready at end of week. Once installed, they will make a zippered opening for the fishing rods. Pictures later this week - Hopefully.
TurfLife
Nice cant wait to see. Just curious how much that cost?
Tarpon Terry
Attached picture shows it just about fully installed. I will take it back in a few weeks to get the zippered slots fabricated for the fishing rods. In the meantime, I will use the rocket launchers and gunnel rod holders for storage. The top will fold down to the rear and will lay on aft deck. Using Acon connectors, I can quickly disconnect it from it's present position and move it back a few feet to another set of Acon connectors which will allow it to sit way back providing access to the bait well. Price was under $700.
brew1891
Tarpon Terry--is that a 54" or 60" tall bimini?
Tarpon Terry
Not sure. But a 6' tall angler can fit under it. Since the floor to gunnel is 17", I guess that it would then be 72-17 = 55". Shumake's can make it any distance that you want.
