fishmanjj
this was just after daylight....... the gnats were eating me up......I put the light rain jacket on because they eat me up. I took off the buff for the picture though. Strangely, about 15 minutes later...the wind picked up to about 10kts. and no more gnats. Later, we got into some keepers........ see attached ( if I attached it correctly ) Redfish July 2016.docx

Indy21
Beautiful fish! I went looking for reds in Charlotte Harbor yesterday morning. It was tough fishing for reds because of a morning low tide and surface temp of 88 degrees. The water temp rose to 91degrees by noon. Needless to say the reds weren't shallow. We did do well on trout and snook though. Also, I wholeheartedly agree with the long sleeves. I wear gloves and a hood, too.
