SkinnyH2O
Hopefully this doesn't effect the "big three-0" tournament this year. I sure wish these Feds and state people would get their sh**t together on this. Rudnick_FL_Bay_dieoff_RECOVER_Ann_Mtg_030116F.pdf
jason p
The Feds and the State officials are on board... with the Sugar lobby. In case anyone didn't know the power of "big sugar", look in your fridge or pantry at the nutrition facts on any food product. Sugar is the only ingredient without a "recommended % daily value" even though everyone knows too much makes you a big fat fattie.

jason p
Yeah, the north shore of Florida Bay is unfishable, from what I could tell from where I went. Had to almost full-throttle the boat in reverse to get off the trailer at the marina the grass was so piled up in the basin. There's still fish to the south luckily. nicecast
Not FL Bay, but... Groing up in SWFL I remember grass flats all over the Marco Island area as recently as the late 80s. There are NO significant grass areas left at all. Pinfish used to be everywhere. Now it's almost impossible to net one. Grass is life! Let's hope this can be fixed. Oh, and sugar is no doubt guilty. But so are ALL of us. Floritam lawns, fertilizer, etc. aren't helping.
