tribbsa Posted May 14, 2016 Report Share Posted May 14, 2016 I keep having trouble with more water than normal entering deck from the scuppers. Cleaning hasn't really helped. Moderator Posted May 14, 2016 Report Share Posted May 14, 2016 Before you rip them apart, try this: Lots of crud gets past the grates, especially mono knot cutoffs. If your boat is on a trailer, raise the bow some and put a hose in the cockpit. Take a wet-vac and *** the water through the check valve and hoses from the transom. Don't zap yourself standing in water.. Use a GFI outlet and keep the ext cord out of the water.. Look in the bottom of the vacuum tank to see what you get out of the lines. I keep my boat covered, and I find dead lizards, leaves and stuff I don't remember seeing on the deck. Give it a try.. M-1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
