Big Dave Posted May 12, 2016 Report Share Posted May 12, 2016 The Backcountry Purple Heart Slam will be held tomorrow and Saturday in Whitewater Bay in the Everglades National Park. This is an event to host 12 U.S. Marines, all Purple Heart recipients, for 2 days of fishing. Due to a miscommunication, Project Healing Waters is in desperate need of a Pathfinder or similar boat with a t-top. The captain would stand ready to assist in the event one of the Marine's needs to be evacuated back to the marina (though there will be Miami-Dade Fire/Rescue available as well).
