Geaux Time
Hey Guys, heading over to Anna Maria for family vacay in June. Bringing my boat and will prob get a couple days to fish. I've never fished the area. What is the target species in the summer over there? I'm always down for reds/trout. I'm guessing snook is closed for harvest but are they running the beaches that time of year. Also, are Tarpon there yet? Is one tide better than the other when it comes to the bite? Not looking for secrets, just general info. Thanks, Scott

Capt. Troy
You should have it all. Snook and trout on the beaches and in the passes. Tarpon around the beaches and passes at bean point, passage key and off course Egmont and the Skyway. If you are on the moon the evening falling tide crab flush can be quite the spectacle. Geaux Time
Thanks guys. Is my best bet launching at SR 64. Did not see any other launches in or around Anna Maria when I looked at maps. Best bet or do you know more?
