This, a 1997 19 ft Redfisher [image][/image] The boat was sitting for a while and I've been cleaning it up. And my 1st problem I'm having is the steering. I need a new helm but can't figure out what I can replace it with. It turns 5 turns lock 2 lock. Any idea what helm I need. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
HewesYourDaddy Posted March 16, 2016 Report Share Posted March 16, 2016 I'm in the same "boat" as you with my steering. Mine seized up in the tilt tube at the motor, so I ripped everything out. When I finally get around to having the steering arm removed from the tilt tube, I think my best bet is going to be a new system from Uflex.
