Dad Dog
I have a 1997 Action Craft 1820 Flatsmaster SE , 115 Evinrude Ocean Pro. Considering restoration of hull due to gel coat scratches etc. Would you advise awl grip refinish or having gel coat restored. Which costs less. Also considering removing/replacing factory aluminum fuel tank. Any advise on who to use for refurb work, ie finish, tank, wiring, etc. Thanks, Dad Dog
80 bonefisher
Great looking boat! How did you run the shift cables, control wires and fuel lines? Can you send us a picture of the transom well?
oldsalt
Awlgrip or inter-lux perfection. Either two part epoxy is going to be half of what re-doing the Gel coat would cost. There is alot of labor involved in the gel coat. Hours of hand work. That is what cost.
oldsalt
Wow! Just wow. Are you going to add a poling platform? I think you could get a job with MBC at thier refurb shop and teach them a thing or two. Absolutely gorgeous job! Congrats.

DonV
Kinda bumping around the MBC site looking for ideas and saw this, extremely nice, especially being able to get your FL numbers to end in "BF". Too cool!!
