Changing drain plugs

If you are talking about the boat drain plug, I replaced mine for the same reason. Not really much to it, two screws out and then working the drain out of the 5200 or whatever sealant/adhesive that was originally used. You may need heat and or anti bond(or whatever it is called) to get the old one out. Once is it out, dry fit new part, clean up the area well and make sure it is clean and dry. Use whatever adhesive/sealant you prefer make sure that you use some on the new screws. Clean up for clean lines.

If it is for other areas, the difficulty would lie in the ability to get to the drain and how sturdy the area is.

Good luck.
