staz5
I recently replaced a trim tab actuator on my 2001 Hewes Bonefisher 18 and upon removing one of the screws that holds the actuator in place, a good amount of water came out. My concern is that there is water stuck in that back "pocket area". I'm ***uming that area is enclosed? Can anyone confirm this? The previous owner installed folding flush mount push pole holders on the deck and the one closest to the transom is right over that area. That's the only logical explanation for water to get in there. I also removed the push pole holder and you can see water inside
Hawaii
Mine too....I found this out while working on my Power Pole. I put a couple of small pie hole hatches one on each side. They do not fill up with water but do occasionally need to air out when I have a few days off.
