SaltStalker
This may be for someone from MBC. Earlier this year, a contractor came out to restain the boat dock deck. While he taped and used plastic sheeting on the boat, he got some spray on the deck. I have tried to use PTEF to remove, no luck. What stronger paint thinner can I use that won't damage the deck. Fishtails
You might try WD-40 and a nail brush. If that doesn't work you might try Barkeepers Friend.

SCFD rtrd.
Had the same problem, but the stain/sealer was on a smooth radius of the cap. I used Star-Brite polish and it worked just fine. You can use Acetone to try to soften the stain/sealer but it's a slow process because the Acetone dries quickly. Maybe Acetone and a small stiff brush (like a brush used for cleaning grout). Acetone is a commonly used product for fibergl*** and gelcoat.
