F1sh0n Posted December 23, 2015 Report Share Posted December 23, 2015 So title says it all. After 2 years of sitting took the boat out and deployed the trolling motor. Motor will turn on fine, but cannot turn it left or right. I can rotate the motor manually, but the remote and foot pedal does not work for rotation. smilemaker Posted December 24, 2015 Report Share Posted December 24, 2015 Get a voltmeter and check it first. ***uming that it is 24 volt be sure you have 24 volt to the board. Then check the voltage to the small motor that turns the shaft. It is only 12 volts. In the past I have had to take the housing apart and clean up the gears and connections.
