M.Witkowski Posted December 23, 2015 Report Share Posted December 23, 2015 On Thursday 12/10/2015 I traveled Parris Island, SC to Florida's Treasure Coast to purchase a beautiful 1984 Hewes Bonefisher from captbruce. When I arrived and saw her immediately fell in love. I returned the next morning with payment and made the 6 hour drive north with her in tow. Today her and I got acquainted on the Colleton River. Air temps in the mid 70's, water temp 60 degrees, winds SSW @ 7 that brought a slight chop. Nevertheless she handled it all like a champ. Great shakedown cruise, and I even saw a pod of dolphins chasing some baitfish. Didn't take the rods out this time but as soon as I got home I loaded them up for the next trip.
