BillAV8R1
I’ve had SeaDek put down on my boat around the trolling motor mount (see pic). Now, when I put the trolling motor on the mount, the securing bar holes don’t line up. The SeaDek raises the trolling motor about 1/4” Any suggestions on fixing this issue? Thanks! NCTribute
Have a spacer made of of starboard, not ideal, but the only other solution is modify or redo the Seadek.
fin-addict
X2 on the spacer. Don’t mess with the seadek.
bernieNC
Whoever did the SeaDek should have known better. Have them make it right.
ChrisB
Get a piece of seadek to use as a spacer under the puck. Or have that piece recut without the cutout for the puck. The person that scanned that job should have known that would not work.

Don't have the TM sitting on the SeaDek with any sort of spacer, you want the TM resting solidly on the deck. You do not want the mount to sit on SeaDek since it flexes! Miss Jazzy
I ran into this same problem on my Jon boat. I mounted the tm mount before I installed SeaDek and then realized the holes wouldn't line up. So I just cut a piece the same size and put it under the mount. I didn't have a choice cause I cut and installed all the SeaDek and I didn't have enough to redo it. I mounted with through bolts, washers and lock nuts tightly and never had a problem with it flexing. By the way I transfer my tm from my Pathy to my jon boat so I'm talking 80lb. Ultera But in your case I would just add a piece of starboard to the thickness you need. I would 5200 them together, clean edges and remount. DaveC
Remove the mount, add 1/4" HDPE sized to fit, use a good methacrylate to bound them and reattach... Don't forget to use a thin membrane under the HDPE for a sealant...
