Much larger boat with a huge open cockpit which is great for 75% off the fishing i'm doing these days. The plan is to get a small skiff for the shallow water stuff. We'll see how I adjust, I love this 23 HPS so I may be kicking myself down the road but we'll worry about that later I suppose. My needs have just changed over the last couple years (aka got married, had a kid... doing charters as well). Josh B.

mulligan
Beautiful boat. Having one of Josh's old boats I can say he keeps his things in top shape and I'm sure this beauty is no different.

Josh B
I'm adding the custom casting platform as well. It's great for sight fishing, but also nice to sit on when live bait fishing with rod holders or when fighting a tarpon. It did take a tumble on the concrete and scratched up the powder coating in spots, but still functions as intended. Josh B.

Josh B
Thanks guys, I'm open to a reasonable offer. She's tucked away in the garage. Just went through her with a fine toothed comb, brand new speakers, new leaning post cushion, scrubbed inside every hatch. Josh B.
The Mavericks
What speeds are you seeing with that 4 blade prop. Interested in a 23HPS. currently have a 2016 18 HPX. Love my boat but looking at something bigger

Interested in a 23HPS. currently have a 2016 18 HPX. Love my boat but looking at something bigger When the prop was new I was seeing 63-64 mph and pretty consistent around 60-62 with a load. The prop is worn down now quite a bit after a couple years of use and it's lost a few mph. I believe there are a few props who are slightly faster, the Bravo FS 23 is pretty well known to be a top contender for all around performance. The 18 HPX is an awesome machine, I wish I had the means to have 2 boats right now I'd love to have an HPX. But I really believe the 23 HPS is one of the best hulls MBG has ever made and it really does everything extremely well. Great ride in rough water, fast hull, and drafts shallow enough to do 95% of everything in the back country. Josh B.
