With the spot lock trolling motors and power poles anchors do not get used as much as before, but it would be nice not to have to take up the front box with an anchor. Looking at some used Hewes over the last few months I too noticed the anchor storage Locker is no more. I am not sure I would buy a boat without dedicated anchor storage.
