Josh B
Hey guys, Just thought I would share some pics of the new boat. Nothing too crazy or different from other builds. I currently have a 2013 Pathfinder 2300 HPS. Updating to a 2016 Pathfinder 2300 HPS. Main difference is I'm going with 250 SHO motor on the new boat vs the F300 on my current boat. Couple reasons. (1) price (2) more torque and punch for jumping up in the shallows (3) 20" shaft. Only thing i'm going to miss is the electronic shifting & larger amp alternator for charging while running. Here's my build list: Yamaha 250 SHO with Command Link Gauges Guide Green two tone exterior Guide Green two tone console White rub rail with stainless insert White powder coat package Twin 10' White Power-Pole blades Recirculating pump Port Release well Advanced bubbler aeration system Trim Tabs Ameratrail trailer with aluminum wheels Lowrance HDS 12 Touch MinnKota 112 iPilot MinnKota 4 bank on-board charger JL Audio M880's (4) with MHD600/4 bluetooth (no head unit) Looking forward to picking her up next week! linesider 159
did you know there is a Facebook Pg dedicated to MBC members? He's on it. Great looking boat Josh. I was surprised at the 250 sho choice coming from an f300 , but increased shallow water performance makes sense. I'm still waiting for someone to put a 400r on a 23hps, would fly. Josh B
Dominion - ha ha, not making that drive for pictures! Skip or someone on staff will send you pictures if you request them. Which is nice to have... they know you're anxious to get it and the pictures help calm the nerves! Thanks guys, I'll make sure to add some pictures and performance numbers when I get around to running her. I picked up on Monday 11/23, now to get some rigging done (electronics, etc.) and then start the break in process this weekend. Josh B.

I will buy something other than Yamelt next time What don't you like about the SHO? Buttapollock - No #'s yet, I spent all weekend rigging and never even get her wet! Too much family events going on, I couldn't get more than a couple hours each day to work on it. #'s coming soon though!! Josh B.

Dominion
Good looking install on the Lowrance unit! Are you going to install a VHF radio? If so, where?
Josh B
Good looking install on the Lowrance unit! Are you going to install a VHF radio? If so, where? I'm not planning to install a VHF, I use a handheld unit when needed. If I did ever install one it would be inside the console out of sight. Same with stereo, I'm installing stereo with just bluetooth module so there is nothing mounted on the console. Everything is controlled remotely on the phone. Josh B. linesider 159
Josh, something you may want to check out is called tacklewebs. Jay withers and CA Richardson posted some pics on facebook and it looks like an awesome idea. IVe been thinking about adding some to my boat but haven't pulled the trigger yet By the way I'm not sponsored by them
Josh B
Thanks guys. Yes, the tackle-webs are pretty nice. I actually ordered some already. I won't use them on every hatch, but I like them for holding my keys, chap-stick, and other small pieces that I don't want to get buried under all the other stuff in the leaning post, etc. Josh B. linesider 159
Let me know how you like them. I don't want something to leave a mark on the inside of my hatch if I ever remove them. It would be really nice to store pliers, line cutters, leader, and pro cure all in one quickly accessible pounch
Robert3
I've had problems with my Yamaha. No need to trash your thread. Your boat is amazing, congratulations. Love those tacklewebs
