First angler Posted August 25, 2019 Report Share Posted August 25, 2019 Hello I pulled my splash well cap off of my 2000 21 angler to reseal it and I noticed there was about 1” of putty the factory used between the cap and the hull and it was brittle and cracked in three places. Is it common to put that much putty in. I’m thinking about having it removed and glassed back I believe it would be much stronger any thoughts? I’ve read all the post about the earlier 21 anglers with the sea chest issue.ive seen no signs of any cracking around mine just the top transom putty issues.any idea were they relocated the sea chest on the newer models?
