Bed liner coating hatches

Recommended Posts

So I am considering applying a Truck bed liner coating to the interior of the hatches of my 06 2200V.  I am curious as to whether anyone has done this and if so. How did it turn out.  My main reason for doing this would be to reduce sound made by accessing fishing gear in the hatches when fishing.  Additionally I think it would make for a clean look.  Any input is appreciated.

I would think it would take a lot of prep to get the surface scuffed up good. Also I would be concerned of moisture over time causing the paint to peel. But Im not a paint expert.......

This boat had lineX sprayed in the hatches...looks great, but wont do much for noise imo.

Dri-dek would work, and Seadek would work even better at keeping noise down. The best solution is to talk to the guy making noise:)

but SeaDek does not have the benefit of keeping stuff up off the wet bottom of a compartment. Dri-dek allows air to circulate which is a plus. Just saying.
