  1. Ever have a tarpon jump in your boat? Think you've snagged the bottom or a log only to find you've hooked a crocodile? That and more--snook, trout, black drum and tarpon! My buddy Mike (Intheslot12) was on fire! Here are some pictures from Sunday in Flamingo. The tarpon was rather "green" as you might imagine, so I dropped a towel on him to try to calm him down! 2. 12 weight fly reel suggestion

Hi all, I purchased a biscayne billy baroo 11/12 weight fly rod used, but appears to be brand new. I wanted to pair it with an affordable (only because this rod will be used on occasion only) 12 wt reel that would complement the rod. I'm open to suggestions and why please. I would like to stay in the max $250 price range (if this cheapens or enhances the rod please tell me) not familiar with this rod company. I do not hunt big game in the back country often....but looking into being able to target large tarpon in 10,000 islands and at bridges etc... Thx for your input!
  3. Hi all, I'm a first responder in south Florida who loves the back country in shore fishery! So when I get free time from family ,work and fishing I'm in the art studio putting together these paintings that I refer to as my "tails". THANK YOU for taking the time to enjoy my images or knock them! joe Text me please to begin conversation regarding interest in a painting. 954 638 5260 josephschiavo.com if interested in other images..
