  1. Fuel tank replace

That's what I kind of remember as well. The 12 gal plastic tank is the biggest you can fit through the hatch. Maybe someday I'll remove the cap and do a total restoration.
  2. Fuel tank replace

I've got a 91 Hewes Tournament (Bonefisher) the original tank was taken out and a plastic 12 gal tank was put in. It works but is only 12 gallons. Which ***. No long journeys unless pack spare cans. How many have replaced fuel tanks in these boats? Did the cap have to be pulled? How much did it cost? Where did you have it done? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  3. Replacing fuel tank

I know it's been discussed. I have searched the forum.

  5. Jet Pump on Bonefisher

Thanks But he only Hated on it being a gr*** catcher? No performance comments from him?
  6. Jet Pump on Bonefisher

I've got a 91 Bonefisher (Tournament) with a Yamaha 90 2 Stroke. I've been thinking of jumping up to a 115 or 130hp and putting on a Jet Pump. Of course I'd keep the prop lower and switch it back and forth. Anyone have a Jet on their Hewes? If so how do it performance? Thoughts? Thanks for any help.
  7. Bonefisher 16 repower

My 91 Tourament (Bonefisher) is rated for a 150hp. I think I'd be scared to put a 150hp on it. I have a 90 2stroke Yamy on it. Works pretty good, but I'd prefer a 115.
