    2007 2000v anchor locker

I agree that the anchor locker on the 2000v isn't the easiest to use. Having said that I ordered a sea claw a few years back and it has been great. No chain and the anchor fits nicely. Highly recommend

My 2000v has the same drain hole you're talking about. Doesn't have a tie off either.

    Jack Plate Switch Question

So I recently replaced my jack place switch that is mounted on the binnacle throttle. Pictured below. I ran the wires like the old ones were along with the trim and tilt wire. When i put it all back together and moved the throttle to make sure it was functioning properly ... it doesn't go into reverse normally.... sometimes it feels normal ... most times it feels like that trim and tilt wire in binding around the base of the throttle lever. (I took the cover off and moved the throttle and could see where the trim and tilt wire was bowing out when I would move the throttle in reverse) Does this make sense ? Has anyone else had this issue and have any recommendations?

    Jack Plates on a 2000v P/F

and I assume you're not having to use a ton of tab? I'm leaning hard towards taking it off after hearing your performance and ride quality. I love the boat but have always hated how much tab I have to use while running it. I do have a 4 blade powertech prop not sure on the exact one.

    Jack Plates on a 2000v P/F

I have a Bob's 6 inch on my 2000v. I've never run the boat without it. You can't run the boat without using tabs though. I'm honestly wondering how much better the boat would perform if I took it off. ? I repowered 2 years ago to a Yam. 150 SHO and can only hit 43 - 44 mph . I see guys saying they see 50mph ... wondering if the tabs and jack plate hurt performance?

    Marine Stereo setup?

Would I need to add another battery if I want to add a 4 channel amp for my JL 6.5's ?

    Which AGM battery for house/starting?

I've had my X2 now for about 2 years and use it as the House/Cranking. I've been very pleased. The guys at the batteries plus had nothing but good things to say about it...
