    Corrosion Protection

Corrosion comes in three flavors. Use the Heavy duty (Green can) on your trailer. Use the aviation (blue can) on the boat and motor. https://www.corrosionx.com/collections/products/products/corrosionx-aviation

    2400 Steering Effort

Unless you are jumping up or running shallow keep the jackplate between 1-1.5 it will steer a lot easier and also keep the water pressure up. I put the OFX 4 on all 22 and 24 TRS and top speed and best cruse is with jackplate around 1. The OFX will stay hooked up with the jackplate high but you are semi surfacing it and creating a lot of torque making steering hard. You have to remember the TRS transom is 25 in and your SHO is a 20 in motor with a 10 inch set back so you are already running the prop high. You must have had your water pump modified if you can run on 3 without getting an overheat alarm.
  3. I have not seen a rod holder installed in that area of the gunnel. Have you mocked one up to see how far down the tube will be, will it interfere with the under gunnel rod holders? That gunnel insert is not built to have any kind of leverage applied to it, that is why Maverick uses a hawse pipe and mounts the spring cleat inside the boat.

    SeaDek and Trolling Motor Mount

Get a piece of seadek to use as a spacer under the puck. Or have that piece recut without the cutout for the puck. The person that scanned that job should have known that would not work.

    Losing power

2005 and up the Vmax 200 was a 3.3 he must have an early model if he has a single pump 2.6

    Losing power

The 200 Vmax is a big block 3.3 so you have the double pumps. https://www.injectorrx.com/yamaha-hpdi-mystery-filters/ https://www.injectorrx.com/yamaha-hpdi/

    Losing power

Starting off with everything clean and verifying fuel pressures is the only way to know for sure. Anything else is a gamble, when we get a HPDI in with running issues compression test and fuel pressure check is first thing done.

    Losing power

if you had a clogged injector everything up stream should have been cleaned/filters replaced when the injectors were cleaned. After servicing the complete fuel system boat needs to be rum with a mechanical gauge on the medium pressure pump, and lap top hooked up to verify high pressure fuel is in spec. Ask your tech what the med and high pressure numbers were, if they dont know find a new shop before you lean out the powerhead

    Cost to replace VST filters

lol its been one of those weeks for me too

    Cost to replace VST filters

His sig has 250 SHO thats what I quoted. The 4 strokes don't have the mystery filters like the HPDI. The VST pump on a four stroke is the high pressure fuel pump, on the HPDI the VST is the medium pressure pump supplying fuel to the belt driven high pressure pump

    Cost to replace VST filters

2.5 hours labor + parts for a 4 stroke VST if your getting injectors cleaned they should be $25 a piece to clean, flow test, and change the filter.
