  2. 1998 Maverick Master Angler 185 (176 original hours)

Not with the current brackets, but I do have brackets that will accommodate the poling platform.
  3. 1998 Maverick Master Angler 185 (176 original hours)

Yes,it will go with the boat.
  4. 1998 Maverick Master Angler 185 (176 original hours)

I had someone ask about the cushions. I have all of the original cushions and they're in great shape.
  5. 1998 Maverick Master Angler 185 (176 original hours)

approximately 8' 8" wide from outside to outside of each fender and 23'6" long from the transom to the end of the trailer tongue. This trailer is longer and wider than my last one as I didn't have any length or width restrictions. I think most torsion axle trailers will be the same width.
  6. So I have found another boat I am interested in and figured I'd list my boat here before craigslist or any other for sale sites. It's a 1998 Maverick Master Angler 18' 5" with a Yamaha 175 VMAX and a 2017 Fast load aluminum trailer. This is one of the cleanest MA's you will find especially for the year. I looked at several MA's before purchasing this one. The boat and motor have an original 176 hours. I have recently wrapped the boat black but I have some photos of it before the wrap which is a cabernet color. I had it wet sanded and buffed before the wrap and the gel coat is in good condition. I am the third owner of the boat, the first of which was an older man who was a snow bird so the boat was rarely used. I have gone through this boat and added over $13k worth of upgrades all within the last year which are listed below. Boat: 1998 Maverick Master Angler 18'5" Black 3m wrap professionally done by Sign Zoo New Steering wheel (still have the original) Wrapped wheel and grab rails New SeaStar Tilt helm and hydraulic lines Lowrance HDS9 Gen 3 with sonic hub New troling motor batteries (Feb. of 2017) Seadek under gunnels with Maverick logo Re-Wire (Everything from the console back including the fuse panel) New Lenco trim tab actuators New pumps ( Rule auto bilge, livewell and recirc) Atlas 4" Jack plate Powder coated black Dual Power-Pole Blade 8's with brackets New Yamaha 704 remote control binnacle Minn Kota 70lb 24V trolling motor (was on the boat when I bought it and is GREAT shape) Motor: Yamaha 175 Vmax 176 hours New plugs and lower unit oil changed about 5 hours ago 3 blade 19 pitch Yamaha prop It could use a new prop, the boat has amazing hole shot but suffers a little bit on the top end. 50mph with two people and gear and about 52 or 53 mph lighter load. Trailer: 2017 Fast load aluminum trailer with torsion axle Less than 100 miles on the trailer Saltwater package with all Stainless hardware Aluminum black wheels with spare drop leg jack $21,500 obo No low ballers please. You can add up all of the upgrades and see the value. You can't buy a MA 185 and add everything for near this price
  7. 17 MA on CL

Not mine. But it looked like a fair price and people are always looking for something they can re-power, looks to be a good candidate. https://tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/boa/6065012135.html
  8. 1998 MA 18.5

Hurricane I still have the platform but I would like to keep it for resale in the future.
  9. 1998 MA 18.5

Lap it up they were one of the options from the trailer manufacturer.
  10. 1998 MA 18.5

New black wrap, trailer and SeaDek under gunnels
  11. 1998 MA 18.5 with 98 Yamaha VMAX 175

whichwaysup thats more of the numbers I would expect to see myself. I just reached out to someone at Powertech as well.
  12. I'm curious to know if anyone has the same setup and what props they are running. I have a 98 MA 18.5 with a 98 VMAX 175 and a Atlas 4" jack plate. I currently have a 3 blade 19 pitch which has amazing hole shot but only runs about 52 or 53 WOT with light load. With 2 people and loaded it runs about 50 WOT. I think it should run mid 50's with a light load and low 50's loaded up. I'm considering a 4 blade Powertech 19 pitch but wanted to get some input before I make the leap.
  13. Minn Kota Talon 6' Cable Broke

Linesider 159 I'd have to disagree and say a Minn Kota Talon cable would more similar to a Power-Pole Shallow Water Anchor hydraulic line than a pump. I believe Power-Pole would happily send a hydraulic line if it were to fail. BTW the Power-Pole pump can be sent in and repaired for little to no charge to the customer even after warranty.

This is a more recent picture but not current.
