  1. I have a 2007 2200 V pathfinder and I have a 3 bank minnKota battery charger mounted inside the console on the forward bulkhead. One bank has shorted out so I can only charge one of two trolling motor batteries. The charger is held in place by four screws or bolts and I cannot reach them from the entry door to the console. I am considering removing the storage compartment on the Port side of the console to gain access to the charger and the batteries. Has anyone done this or have a better Idea to gain access to the charger? If so how difficult was it to remove the storage compartment. Many thanks Noah
  2. Swim Ladder

Justfish you have a nice looking boat. My impression is that you have the swing mount and it can be stored in the mount in the upright oosition. Can it be left there permanently until it is needed. Do you have to remove it say in heavy chop? I believe the 3 step ladder weighs 15# and wonder about the mount pulling loose if stressed too much. If you are in the water how easy is it to move it from its stored position to its down position? Thanks for responding; your comments will be deeply appreciated.
  3. I have a 2200 v pathy with a f150 with 680 hours on the engine. The paint on the engine coweing where it meets the aluminum base is peeling away. The paint on the motor mounting bracket at it very bottom and skeg is now beginning to peel. The anodes are replaced periodically with aluminum or zinc. The boat is kept in a sling when not in use in salt water and rinsed with fresh water after each use. What is causing this? What can I do to prevent this. and repair this.
  4. I would like to add a boarding ladder to the back of my 2007 2200v. I have a transducer on the starboard side and extended trim tabs. I am considering mounting an Armstrong 3 or 4 step single pole ladder on the starboard side because of easier access to the under side of the deck. I am maturing and fish alone frequently. Getting back into the boat if I should fall out has become a real safety issue for me. I would like to know which bracket to use for the ladder and where do you store the ladder when it is not in the bracket so that it can be reached from the water? I would appreciate any information you could give me on installation and use of this ladder. T:hank you. Bob W
  5. gas cap

Thanks for your help. The cap is out of stock and has been discontinued.
  6. gas cap

I have a 2007 pathfinder 2200v with a pop up gas cap. You turn the gas cap to tighten and then push down on the cap and turn it with a key to make it flush with the deck plate. I have replaced the gas filler ***embly once because the cap locked in the down position and could not be removed. After one year the new cap is doing the same thing and I cant remove it. Why is this occurring? Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? Can I buy just the cap and not have to replace the entire filler unit? Thank you
